New technologies, new opportunities, new types of work and training. We are in an era marked by great changes and sudden transformations that leave us back if we are not always up to date and yet the other face of the medal shows us an uncertain future, a confusion of people and nature, unstable markets and young people are lacking.
The future, the youngest, needs to be followed, addressed and weaned to the novelty of a world on the razor wire so that they can take the opportunity to start the story of tomorrow. Formation is definitely one of the most effective ways to get in touch with the novelties, to know them and to make them their own. This year’s Marketer’s Academy took part in the Future Vintage Festival on September 9th and 10th, organizing four meetings with communication and marketing professionals. Marketer’s Academy has the great advantage of being digital based and run by millennials with sparkling careers who wanted to create the Marketer’s Evolution project in which they talked about networking and the future of communication. After a free online enrollment all participants were able to attend two workshops and two lectures featuring prominent corporate personalities and communication agencies.
The eighth edition of the Future Vintage Festival was quite rich in content, from the appointments of Marketer’s Evolution there have been workshops and meetings on photography, music, journalism and of course technology. The role of photography in men’s history, the re-enactment of the past, the discovery of the future, and the ability to observe all the trace of the historical-cultural path of image technology, is the most important aspect of photography, which today seems to be the most effective way to communicate. Journalism is certainly one of the most affected sectors and more responsive to technological progress. Switching from paper and from weekly or daily times to the speed of a webbing web and fast fingers on a lightweight keyboard is not a simple thing. Between followers and likers who had also thrown into the more historic magazines that risk losing customers and credibility, what is the right road journalism has to take to not extinct itself in its purest form? These and other questions have arisen during the appointments of the Future Vintage Festival dedicated to journalism in which important and illustrious names have appeared.
The music comes decisively into the event with the inaugural concert held by Carmen Consoli, which is just the beginning of nine appointments dedicated and powered by different music genres including the dj set for the Chic Nic nights. Technological appointments were based on two key points: the technological future of our planet and the origin of technology as we now know it, emerged from the 80’s to the 90s in cinemas, comics, video games, TV series giving rise to pop culture.
