Today the TV series have passed the films, it is certainly true that the Primetime Emmy Awards, with its awards and red carpet, have achieved an equal importance to the Oscars.
The 69th Emmy Awards Ceremony was held at Hollywood’s Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles on September 17th. On this special occasion, winners, nominees or simply prestigious guests chose to wear the wonderful Chanel dresses on the red carpet of this midnight night in mid-September.
Tracee Ellis Ross, nominated for lead actress in a comedy, wore a fully embroidered silver tulle dress with billowy sleeves and an iridescent organza lining, ending in a cascade of feathers from the Chanel Spring Summer 2017 Haute Couture collection.
Dress embroidery: 1,300 hours, 170,000 elements, small crystal beaded flowers, strass, silver mirrors and glass beads. Feather embroidery: 80 hours, hand painted white feathers with white tulle pompoms embellished with silver beads. Alessandra Mastronardi, actress in the nominated best comedy series ‘Master of None’, wore a off the shoulder trompe l’oeil dress in pink and white silicone lace embellished with lace ruffles & jeweled buttons down the back from the Chanel Spring Summer 2017 Haute Couture collection.
She wore also Chanel belt, clutch and Chanel fine jewelry: “Champs de Blé” bracelet and “Premiers Brins” earrings in 18K white gold and diamonds.
