Cividini‘s Spring Summer 2018 collection is born from exotic suggestions inspired by Gauguin’s tahiti period, strong and essential images which have characterised the collection’s patterns and decorations.
Gauguin’s flowers, which might seem naif at our eyes, are reinterpreted and even more stylized in the collection’s lines. Garments which reproduce flowers and leaves decorate shirts, clothes and cardigans.The floreal pattern takes shape in contrast with plain patterns with knitted flowers which are all over the dresses and the shirts.
The emboideries are also a combination of modernity and tradition; taffetas petals cut with laser and manually attached are another way to interpret the floral theme. Finally, the typical Cividini white shirt is essential in every outfit, now also in floreal lace. The men’s collection also proposes again the classic Cividini features, which the floral decorations are mainly gathered on the ties.
