The collection Spring Summer 2018 of Missoni are a real celebration of the brand of his unmistakable style and of the vibrating energy that for a long time countersigns it.
The fashion show takes life under a curtain thought of the artist Rachel Hayes where the gangs, the lines and the zigzag, so much darling to the brand, becomes the protagonists of this collection. This collection is a real bridge between past and future, where the fluid suits to strong shades cohabit with soft sweaters to wear above bodysuit, where the kaftans are alternated to rolled jumpsuit and asymmetrical skirts.
The evening ignites with the shine of coloured crystals that they embellish tunics see-through. Everything is emphasized by the forms, enriched by sparkling pieces in lurex. The whole collection almost introduces him simple bare, I would dare to say less proper for a party to Milan but perfect for Ibiza, where bodysuits, transparencies and big hats are not so rare.
This has been the first time that Missoni places side by side the collections woman and man on the runway, a formula that other marks have recently adopted and that the maison now intends to make permanent.
