The new Spring Summer 2018 Vivienne Westwood collection is dedicated to the coworker of the designer, the creator of some of the latest collections, Andreas Kronthaler. His path through life has been tortuous and difficult, and now he wants to express his victory through these creations. He plays with colors. Lust, desire, sexuality and even sadness are at their best inside colors.


The two designers have divided their work into two collections: Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood and Vivienne Westwood. In Tyrol, where he was born, Andreas took inspiration from cows names to baptize the clothes in this collection: Naomi, Vivienne (got its name because Westwood helped bring it into life), Donatella, Riana , Music, Uganda, Fleur …Vivienne Westwood collection is entirely dedicated to Andreas Kronthaler Spring Summer 2018 women's CollectionAt the Attersee lake, then, they met Gexie, a friend and expert in folk costumes, and they chose some of Tostmann fabrics. Andreas asked her to make the couture version of the Dirndl. After this trip, Vivienne painted Andreas’s graphics on wonderful dresses in satin and suits. Colors, flowers, dances and songs, joy, instinctive happiness, party, arcadia, water lilies and shepherds on Boucher’s paintings, a shawl with the “Velvet” print, animals brueghel in heavenly peace before the fall of man: Andreas Kronthaler’s and Vivienne Westwood’s creativity has no boundaries.
