Fall Winter 2017/18 Made to Measure collection by La Cucitoria tells a story about the experiences that the designer Sonja Tagliavini has seen and felt in her travels, which as always are a source of inspiration for her collections.

This season the collection tells the story of a long journey that takes us to distant lands, from the golden deserts, where there are sumptuous palaces decorated with majolicas, to the elegant and refined Parisian literary cafés. The majolicas of Marrakech palaces become precious prints on skirts, worn with comfortable cashmere sweaters. The coat is made of the same fabric of the pants, to have a game of matching tones.La Cucitoria collection tells a story about a journey in distant lands Fall Winter 2017/18These opulent prints are mixed with chanel fabric, with a decisively austere taste: no low-necked dress or mini lengths. But La Cucitoria woman changes from austere to sensual and feminine in a second, with a long silk dress/gown trimmed with ostrich feathers and embellished with lurex threads. The color palette ranges from gold to bright blue, then touches delicate shades of pink, on which are reclined burgundy, green, red and ocher.
