Biuu, founded in Paris in 2016 by the Chinese designer and entrepreneur Wu Hao, is a menswear brand based in Shanghai already present with mono-brand boutiques in the most exclusive streets of the Chinese metropolis.
An extraordinary debut made it the protagonist with a fashion show at the Four Season Hotel, during Milan Fashion Week men’s. The collection Fall Winter 2018/19 is divided into three parts “Sant Collection”, “Vanguard Collection” and “Devildom Collection” and is inspired by five main themes, all related to the Chinese cultural tradition.The main inspiration is the Shan Hai Jing, the work that describes ancient China in mythological terms and which finds its place in the collection through the representation of wild fairs, among which the figure of batcat, the bat-cat, emerges.
he most minimal garments leave room for symbols of Imperial China like the cloud, or even horses placed inside an undefined universe.Gold, water, wood, fire and earth are the elements of nature that inspired the collection. The high quality fabrics come from Parisian and European laboratories, each garment is taken care of in the smallest detail. The collection is diversified, broad, modern and contemporary.
The Biuu man manages to express his true essence through every creation. Following the debut in Milan, Biuu aims to consolidate its presence at an international level, planning the imminent opening of directional showrooms in Paris and New York.
