Throw back to ’90s for Ermanno Scervino in his Fall Winter 2018/2019 man collection. The tartan takes inspiration from the grunge but the Scottish mood is the protagonist of this collection, together with the trousers with side band, which do not intend to come out of the wardrobe for next winter and the tailored jacket.

The designer’s game is to mix garments with a British allure, revisited with the patchwork technique and details of the sporty garments.

Thus creating a less rigid and formal line but still as a gentleman. The processing of tartan tends to maintain the traditional colors of tartan, blue, yellow green and red, while houndstooth and herringbone, are decomposed ad hoc to achieve a nuanced effect. Caban and jackets take on a used appearance thanks to the embossing of wool.

Even the accessories are inspired by the English world: derby shoes protagonists to complete a look made of contrasts, revisited along with the boots with the treaded sole. Tartan also in the sneakers together with the animalier or the total white. The Newsboy cap is the extra glamor detail, in pied de poule or black watch.
