Tweed boots combined with the outfits give the finishing touch to the iconic Chanel design, as always shown to the public in a dream location.
The Grand Palais becomes an interior garden decorated to perfection with a central fountain, the perfect frame for models walking in Chanel suits and dresses with flower crowns and tulle veils on the head.In the Chanel collection for Spring Summer 2018 Haute Couture the softness is a constant expressed by the cut of tweed jackets or dresses with wide bootom fit. Soft colors accompany this ethereal softness making each dress delicate and refined, as just bloomed. Pink, mint green, gray and a pale taupe attenuate the energy of black, bright silver, fuchsia and chlorophyll green. Tulle is the protagonist of the fabrics chosen for this collection accompanied by chiffon and organza embroidered with floral motifs and applications of stones, sequins and studs.
Finesse and volume come together in a single design making the cage dress with feathers one of the most beautiful images of this fashion show. Dresses with wide skirts and A-line alternate with complete suits with softer and longer skirts. Edgy shoulders for jackets and coats with a bright tweed, more teeny and versatile the outfit with a short-sleeved top and a soft skirt to match with tone-on-tone sock-boots.Even the coat in green is enriched with an A-line skirt becoming an excellent alternative to the dress. Total black for the dress with front pockets while long fuchsia bows find space on dresses in tulle and colorful or floral skirts. Feathers to enrich the dresses, embroidery to make them unique, shimmering fabrics to illuminate them and all the Chanel’s magic to tell their story to the audience.
