Cividini Fall Winter 2018/19 collection: between rigor and lightness

by Emanuela Cinti
Miriam and Piero Cividini, partners in work and in private life, transmit in their collections personalities, ideas and, above all, knowledge of the product based on a mix of highly artisanal workings and modern technology. With the new Fall Winter 2018/19 collection, presented during Milan Fashion Week, Cividini plays on contrasts.

The geometric shapes are opposed to the fluidity of the volumes. Rigor and lightness are the key words that sum up the entire collection. The rigor of lines, design, color and proportions is skilfully mixed with details, volumes and textures. “Free expression” is another key word that the collection wants to communicate, with the intention to create new combinations by discarding the established rules.Cividini Fall Winter 2018/19 collectionBeing overwhelmed by pleasure and excess are the prerogatives of Cividini through the palette consisting of white, black, red, blue, gray, beige, green and yellow and thanks to the fabrics used such as silk, tweed, cotton, knitwear and technical fabric has created a collection for a woman who loves to feel modern, cultured, independent of trends, strong and satisfied with her life and her choices. The philosophy that Cividini has been implementing for years is based on putting the quality of the materials first. In fact it is thanks to the manufacture of the highest quality and the fine fabrics, as well as of course the refined design, which Cividini has conquered his woman.

The company was founded as a small production of cashmere knitwear in Bergamo in 1987, today it has been extended to the entire total look wardrobe, including accessories. The Bergamasco brand, thanks to the positive responses received from the international market, is growing strongly not only in the Italian market but also in the German-speaking countries. Finally, Cividini’s winning weapon resides in having masterfully combined a “street” fashion with a “couture”.
