Chanel and Serpentine Gallery together again in London

Last June 2018 London hosted an event highly awaited by the guests of the fashion house that sponsored it.



Chanel together with Yana Peel, Hans Hulrich Obrist, Michael R.Bloomberg and Christo and Adwoah Aboah was the godmother of the Summer Party held in the Serpentine Gallery to celebrate the Serpentine Pavillion 2018 created by the Mexican architect Frida Escobedo. To celebrate an artistic space that expands in the world and brings art, architecture and education, the collaboration between the Serpentine Gallery and Chanel is repeated, already tested last year and immediately proved successful. The 2018 project is dedicated to free art and free thinking finding fertile soil in a city that was central to youth revolutions, the protagonist of the most interesting movements.

Many guests at the party enriched by entertainment and the “Coco” Restaurant that offered a gourmet experience in the night that ended with  ice cream served  in the cart designed by the interior designer Joyce Wang. Now as always we head towards the most fashionable part of the news: let’s discover together what were the look worn by the celebrities invited by Chanel. Let’s start with the eagerly awaited Alexa Chung wearing a black lace dress with Chanel bag and accessories. Let’s go from the it girl par excellence to the top Suki Waterhouse who attended the event wearing a suit and skirt in  ecru and beige wool tweed with Chanel bag, shoes and accessories. Ellie Bamber wore a short bustier dress in fully embroidered pink cotton and tulle which she combined with make-up, “Lion Protecteur” earrings in 18k white gold with pearls and diamonds, “Leon Venitien” ring in 18k white gold and diamonds and the “Plume” ring in 18k white gold and diamonds.Suki Waterhouse

Adwoa Aboah, British model, chose a black lace dress paired with shoes, bag, accessories, make-up and Chanel jewelry: “Cometè” earrings in 18k white gold and diamonds. The ambassador  the Ella Purnell  was wrapped in a second skin dress in iridescent chiffon and ecru charmeuse silk with Chanel accessories, Chanel make-up, “Camelia Precieux” earrings in 18k white gold and diamonds. The British actress Kaia Scodelaro chose to wear a white pleated jersey jumpsuit, shoes, bag, Chanel make-up and “Coco Crush” necklace and earrings in 18k yellow gold and diamonds. Hermione Corfield opted for the multicolor patterned tweed and white leather of a dress and top paired with Chanel shoes, accessories and make-up. Also Stacy Martin chose balck: she wore a dress in cotton lace combined with Chanel make-up, “Camelia Precieux” ring and “Coco Crush” earrings. Bringing some good vibes: Mimi XU, French DJ, in a black satin suit combined with shoes, bag and accessories by the maison.


The actress Margaret Clunie wore a white embroidered top and embroidered trousers in navy blue organza, “Premiere Mini” watch in steel, black rubber and diamonds, Chanel make-up. Ella Hunt had a white georgette crepe dress embroidered with a sequin belt, accessories and make-up Chanel. Mia Goth was there in a black dress in black and silver canvas that combines Chanel bag and make-up and the “Camelia” ring in 18k white gold and diamonds. Lara Stone was shining not only for the printed silk dress but also for the bracelets and earrings in 18k white, beige and yellow gold and diamonds. Elisa Lasowski was present and wore a knit dress printed with Chanel shoes and make-up. Jenna Coleman also arrived in a coordinated top and organza skirt with collar and knit cuff combined with bag and Chanel bag and “Camelia” earrings.
