To inspire the designer Colin Jiang for the new Spring Summer collection 2019 is Tibet, a culture of millennial memory: with an international and cosmopolitan spirit, the maison looks to the East. So in all the hall there is a song ready to announce the Chinese parade: let the show begin!
A mix of futuristic materials and bright colors characterizes the collection: unstructured outerwear are combined with silver details and transparent PVC; precious workmanship draw unpublished profiles.
The use of rivets and embroidery gives a new image to the head of a wolf that, together with other graphic elements, represents the essence of Wolf Totem. Laser carvings in contrast with hand-painted and the use of metal and rhinestone applications create the trait d’union between tradition and modernity.The strong and bright nuances recall the Tibetan nature. Elements of culture, such as Tibet’s traditional language and accessories, become a figurative element of a new global aesthetic language.
Wolf Totem, through cutting-edge cuts, unconventional fabrics and craftsmanship shows a precise attention to detail and a great professionalism, creating a perfect combination of tradition and modernity, a young collection for a contemporary man.
