On his personal page Istagram, Riccardo Tisci, creative director for Burberry, announces an extraordinary collaboration: Burberry and Vivienne Westwood.
The union of two British brands among the most loved in the world, for a limited edition that pays homage to the British style. It was Tisci who really wanted this collaboration, previously he had worked with Donatella Versace, and then chose to create a new capsule with another woman who strongly influenced his career: Vivienne Westwood.
Vivienne Westwood has always been the champion of nonconformity, the rules were created to be broken, it seems to say its style so scratchy, a punk and rebel style that has always fascinated Riccardo Tisci. The limited edition will be launched next December, three months after the debut of the first Burberry fashion show at London Fashion Week and will support the non-profit organization Cool Earth, which is committed to deforestation and its impact on climate change.
Expect to see this new collaboration, which sees together two brands of the same nationality but with obvious differences, one with a more traditional line, the other more nonconformist, a very interesting union.
The collaboration will support rainforest charity www.coolearth.org.
