He shaked again the fashion world making us admire the most famous models of the moment in a completely unusual way, indeed in a new skin.
Alien beauties come from who-knows-what-planet to bewitch and seduce us. Jeremy Scott took them to us and dressed them for their debut on planet Earth. They appear elegant and sophisticated in the new Moschino advertising campaign for Fall Winter 2018/19 shot by Steven Meisel, which is from sight an explosion of colors: the garments in solid colors rest on the models’ alien skins.
Red skin and sky-blue outfit for Kaia Gerber while Gigi Hadid proudly shows her blue tan in an orange coat. Soo-Joo Park enhances its light blue skin with a blonde bob and a pink suit, Rianne Van Rompaey creates an amazing chromatic contrast, matching the green of her skin with the orange of her Moschino total look. Superb Vittoria Ceretti in an orange-skinned version wearing a magenta dress with ton sur ton accessories.
The chromatic impactof the campaign bears the signature of the stylist Carlyne Cerf De Dudzeele while the make-up and hairstyles are respectively by Pat McGrat and Guido Palau. The casting direction of the campaign is by Piergiorgio Del Moro and Samuel Ellis Scheinman. The power of colors is expressed in these photographs through human beauty in all its diversity and fashion is the mean that enhances a strangeness that is purely idealized, totally inexistent.
