Riccardo Tisci‘s new debut campaign marks a new era and a new aesthetic for Burberry. For Riccardo Tisci, Burberry’s creative director, one of the most important values of the brand is its inclusiveness.
Precisely for this reason the new campaign brought together a cast of photographers and models who could manage to convey all the various facets of the London brand.
The six photographers, who for the first time collaborated with Burberry to shoot an advertising campaign are: Nick Knight, Danko Steiner, Hugo Comte, Colin Dodgson, Peter Langer and Letty Schmiterlow. The mix of these different personalities has helped to create a campaign with contrasting images that tell the uniqueness of Burberry.
The campaign stars Stella Tennant, Fran Summers, Claudia Lavender, Rianne Von Rompaey, Natalia Vodianova, Irina Shayk, Sora Choi, Anok Yai, Darani, Matteo Ferri and Joe Plunkett.

The new Burberry campaign is the translation in images of the 2019 Spring Summer collection that celebrates the melting pot of creativity, styles and traditions rooted in the heart of Great Britain, from rebellious punk to formal and refined.
For the Spring Summer 2019 collection, Riccardo Tisci has retraced the years of his diploma in London and wanted to highlight the transformations that this city has undergone in the last 20 years.
Like the new campaign, the key word is inclusiveness for the new collection: London is a mix of cultures, styles and influences. An eclectic city, just like Burberry.
The new campaign will continue to appear on all Burberry channels until April.
The Burberry Spring Summer 2019 collection will be available in boutiques and online from February 2019.
