Francesca Liberatore, an Italian talent born in 1983, graduated at Saint Martin’s in London in 2007, started building up her career collaborating with some of the top high-end fashion houses such as Viktor & Rolf in Amsterdam, Jean Paul Gaultier in Paris and Brioni Womenswear in Italy.
In the Spring Summer 2009 the designer launched her own collection winning the “Next Generation” competition promoted by the Italian Fashion Chamber, thus starting to show during Milan Fashion Week her talent. It is the moment when Francesca Liberatore reaches her success in the most important fashion cities, Paris, London, New York, and take part to important projects like Fashion Project Moulin Rouge, Saga Furs, Swarovski to name a few.
The book published in 2018 by Silvana Editoriale wants to be a diary of her first ten years of work.
It is divided in four parts, the four cities, London, Paris, Milan, New York, where the designer had her debut in fashion. Francesca Liberatore – Made in Italy in enriched with many contents related to art and photos and sketches with texts of famous names in fashion like Mario Boselli, Daniela Fedi, Howard Tangye, along with other important names of the fashion world.
The event for the presentation of the book was held on May 21st at the University of Rome La Sapienza. Together with the designer, took part Livia Crispolti (textile designer and lecturer at the three-year degree course in Fashion and Costume Sciences) Cinzia Capalbo Dean of the Three-year Degree Course in Fashion and Costume Sciences of the Department of History, Culture, Religions of the Faculty of Letters and Philosophy, Giuseppe Di Piazza – Corriere della Sera, Elisabetta Pinacci – Sagafurs.

Francesca Liberatore on May 9th of this year presented in New York an edit of her 10 years of work during an exclusive event that took place at Designnow, at Broadway.
