The designer Laura Aparicio had her debut last February, produced by Gianni Serra and distributed by Spazio 38, the Colombian designer had her debut this September introducing her first collection for the Spring Summer 2020.
For the presentation of her summer collection, the designer chose the elegant Cracco location, two steps away from the historic Milanese Gallery.
Her collection prefers a revisited tailoring style with a modern cut, with asymmetrical dresses, culottes, bomber jackets, Saharan jackets and straight skirts. The collection is inspired by the theme of the Orchid (Colombian National Flower) designed by the painter father, Jaime Aparicio.
It is the result of sophisticated innovative pieces, silhouettes and architectural cues inspired by South American culture, with masculine hints mixed with feminine details. The cuts are clean , as if to convey a trace of Latin culture, her creations transmit dynamism and a determined character of the designer.
Her style is in a constant dialogue between his past rich in tradition and culture and the present. The colors are typical of South America, warm and intense like blue, red, yellow and light blue, gray and touches of olive green.
The collection is full of color with graphic lines and freshness, the same one that is transmitted by the image of the flower that is repeated on the pure white panels with tight and high belts.
The are 100% silk and cottons mixed with check and pinstripes.
The collection is enriched with important details such as fringes and flounces or the necklaces and bracelets of nuts from Tagua.
