Second act of the collaboration between Rick Owens and VEJA, a creative collision that gave shape to the Veja x Rick Owens sneakers, the result of a dialogue that touches the questions and challenges of the contemporary fashion system.
A search for innovative shapes and materials, declined in different inspirations, themes and directions which for VEJA meant the opportunity to work with a precise vision in the absolute universe of Rick Owens.
A unique aesthetic, dotted with now dystopian, now minimalist dimensions that join the study on environmental sustainability carried out by Sébastien Kopp and François-Ghislain Morillion, the co-founders of the French brand Veja.
The style of the performing runner is a reinterpretation of the Autumn Winter proposal presented on the male catwalk by Rick Owens.
Made of fabric in a seamless 3D wool, a material and a technique that offer breathability, elasticity and comfort. To reduce the use of plastic, the details are based on castor and vegetable oil.
Both the insole and the sole are made with a mixture of reused and natural materials, recycled plastic bottles and rubber extracted with traditional methods from the Amazon rainforest.

The vegan trekking model was created to offer comfort, performance and protection on rough and natural terrain.
This style is characterized by the double Rick Owens back label and the oversized details for the lacing. As an alternative to the use of leather, the upper is made up of scraps derived from corn processing, reducing the use of petroleum-based elements.
The inter-sole and sole are made with natural and re-used materials, recycled plastic bottles and rubber extracted with traditional methods from the Amazon forest.
The Trekking and Vegan models are available in two colors, black and white.
