The solidarity chain does not stop: among the names that came out to give their contribution to the Covid-19 emergency in the national territory also HUI that announced that it has donated 10,000 masks and 200 protective face shields to the Dipartimento della Protezione Civile of the Municipality of Milan to support doctors, nurses, researchers and volunteers who, for weeks, have been working tirelessly to fight the epidemic.
“In the difficult battle against Coronavirus infection, each contribution has an enormous and precious value from a human point of view: ours was a natural gesture towards a country, Italy and in particular the city of Milan, to which we are linked since our origin ”commented Hui Zhou Zhao, the Chinese designer of the house. Italy has always been part of the DNA of HUI and its designer, who, thanks to the master’s degree at the Milan Polytechnic, has signed – and formed – his style in a recognizable way by combining Italian sartorial elegance with a typically oriental decorative taste to create a distinctive signature.
Milan was also the stage that hosted the HUI brand fashion show for several seasons, which is why the designer is very grateful and hopes to return soon.Attention to beauty and the care of tradition that does not disregard the human capital summarized in the activity of the HUI Foundation whose aim – net of the protection and promotion of craftsmanship typical of Chinese culture – aims at the well-being of people by promoting supportive and beneficial projects aimed at improving life. And it is precisely with this in mind that HUI has promoted the donation of individual protective devices – certified and provided with the necessary technical compliance – also taking advantage of its global supply chain to facilitate delivery in a moment in which they are primary goods more necessary than ever.
An emergency that the fashion house knows well since it was among the first to not underestimate the extent of the epidemic, renouncing, in February, to parade during Milano Moda Donna to protect the health and well-being of the people involved.
