Ermanno Scervino entrusts Sofia Ciucchi with the general management and designs a new one development strategy

Ermanno Scervino entrusts the general management to Sofia Ciucchi and designs a new development strategy. After a few months of collaboration as CEO, Sofia Ciucchi takes on the role of General Manager of Ermanno Scervino, reporting directly to the president and CEO Toni Scervino.



Sofia Ciucchi, 52 years old, Florentine, graduated in economics from Bocconi University in Milan, has one long career in the luxury and accessories sector, first for twenty years in the Ferragamo group, up to hold the position of Deputy General Manager, and in the last three years head of the historic company of Il Bisonte leather goods, of which he managed the relaunch with the British private equity fund Palamon.

Toni Scervino comments on the decision:
“We started collaborating with Sofia with her joining our board in November. We have worked hard to outline the path to grow the company in the coming years years and prepare the team. Now the time has come to leave with decision.

 We have redefined strategic priorities and development lines in terms of products and markets. Despite Covid, we have strengthened ourselves on merchandising and style for the product categories that we want to grow, primarily knitwear and accessories. We are completing these days commercial and marketing team, with particular attention to projects and digital content.

The next release of the Resort 2021 collection is scheduled for early July, and the presentation will take place in a physical and virtual showroom. We have been working with Mr. Ermanno for one for months rich creativity, which fully expresses the DNA of our brand, declined in different themes and groups of delivery, to better meet the needs of the various distribution channels and cover with a the sales season in the shops, which runs from December to July, follow one another.

A special project we care about regards the new line of bags, for the launch of which we have developed a beautiful marketing initiative, of which I can only anticipate that it will combine our idea of ​​beauty, femininity and sustainability in an innovative and original way.

 The Ermanno Scervino collection and the Lingerie&Beachwear line will be presented in July with this new formula, while the Ermanno line, which we are strategically repositioning, will be presented in September.


Finally, we have just signed a license agreement to entrust our Junior line to Gimel, a company that corresponds to us for its approach to product quality and for the whole Made in Italy supply chain, with the aim of developing a child’s project together special, refined and a little couture, in keeping with the creativity of our brand “
