Smash Collection Spring Summer 2021 by Gianni De Benedittis for futuroRemoto Gioielli, translates the inexhaustible aesthetic force of the athletic gesture into small jewel sculptures, looking at sport not only as an opportunity for physical well-being, but also as a meeting place, growth and training of the soul, for a sustainable and inclusive development of different identities.
In gaming competitions, as in those of life, we have no enemies to fight but only opponents to run with.
In this collection of about fifteen pieces, Gianni De Benedittis’ creative twist is expressed in the creation of small human bodies with muscles defined by the exercise tension and some gym equipment such as weights and dumbbells, carefully designed in 3D; all decorative plastic elements made of silver and gold, to be personalized with the application of diamonds, which are inscribed in quadrangular or circular profiles, to suggest awareness of one’s limits, trying to overcome them by increasing self-esteem and bringing out those resources unknown that each possesses.
