If in these days you are getting lost among the colors of italian regions do not despair, we are here to entertain you with a new piece about the Fall Winter 2021/22 collections. This time we talk about Chanel and the video show with which the maison took part in the Paris Fashion Week.
The event was announced with a teaser by the duo Inez & Vinoodh who also took care of the creation of evocative photographs taken on rue Princesse in the Saint-Germain-des-Prés district in Paris. The protagonists of the pictures are the models Lola Nicon, Vivienne Rohner, Mahany Pery, Louise de Chevigny, Abby Champion, Malika Louback and Rebecca Leigh Longendyke. Now let’s get to the heart of the news and let’s start talking about Chanel’s Fall Winter 2021/22 collection presented with a teaser by Inez & Vinoodh and then with a full video in which we could admire from afar how the maison interpreted the next winter.
The initial feeling when looking at the garments is that this time Virginie Viard wanted to bring comfort to the Chanel collections, as if she had wanted to blend the impromptu elegance of the maison with a need for protection, warmth and hugs that today we also entrust to our dresses. A little for the trust we place in fashion that accompanies us every day, a little for the need we have to receive a caress. For this Fall Winter 2021/22 comfortable and elegant black are combined with winter colors such as purple, blue but also pops of color with fuchsia and red, yellow and multicolor solutions. Chanel tweed is surrounded by other fabrics from the most elegant such as silk to the most casual such as denim which is offered in its lightest shade but also in black in an elegant version of the shorts.
The classic Chanel suit becomes fur for Fall Winter 2021/22 and boasts various lengths as well as colored profiles that give a pop touch to the garment. The quilted outerwear and dungarees (with logo and cool) brings us back to streetwear and that life-friendly clothing that we crave so much.Even the fur boot is warm and versatile, a smart but recognizable solution. Trousers and outerwear have a relaxed fit and also play down evening looks for effortless elegance, in step with the times and needs. Yes to accessories but without exaggerating: the maison has always stood out for the overlapping of jewels but in this case it finds a more minimal version of its trend, however, experimenting with new concepts.
In fact, body chains appear, or body jewels, such as the bright garter and the “belts” to be worn on the stomach often uncovered thanks to cropped jackets. Green light to belts that mark the waist and sensually interrupt the relaxed silhouettes. We like it!
