Sanremo Area, which opened registrations at the end of September, is in fact the only contest that will give four emerging artists the opportunity to access the final evening of Sanremo Giovani, scheduled for December 15 live on Rai1, in prime time from Sanremo Casino Theater.

The event, dedicated to artists aged between 16 and 30 not yet completed on 1 January 2022, boasts the artistic direction of Massimo Cotto, radio DJ, television and theater author, journalist and writer, who also had a primary role of the selections of Tomorrow KNTNR.

To register, you need to download the official announcement from the area-sanremo.it website, fill in the online application and send the required material by 21 October.

The goal of the area is the promotion and enhancement of young talents in the pop music sector, in close connection with the Italian Song Festival, to provide them with opportunities to meet with professionals in the sector, including through special courses.

Piero Pelù, Mauro Ermanno Giovanardi and Marta Tripodi will be present in the evaluation commission, chaired by Franco Zanetti and Maestro Giuseppe Vessicchio.

The winners will have the opportunity to audition in front of the Rai artistic commission, which will decide the 4 artists participating in the final evening of Sanremo Giovani, from which two artists will then be selected who will compete directly among the big names at the Sanremo Festival.
