It reproduces indoor pedalling on the road thanks to a transmission with a revolution multiplier, an electromagnetic resistance system and a frame that can flex laterally

The first model resulting from the collaboration between the two companies makes its debut in Milan during Fuorisalone 2023
The first Pirelli-branded Ciclotte Bike made by Multi Design was presented during Milan Design Week. This version of the design exercise bike inaugurates the collaboration between the two Italian companies and features elements derived from the world of motorsport.

Created by designer Luca Schieppati, the Ciclotte Bike differs from traditional exercise bikes in a number of ways, starting with its single-wheel shape.
This exercise bike is designed to faithfully reproduce pedalling on the road thanks to a transmission with a revolution multiplier, an electromagnetic resistance system, a frame capable of flexing sideways to accompany the push on the pedals, and a reduced distance between them as on a racing bike.

An additional feature is the ability to stay connected to any Bluetooth device at all times, for an immersive training experience with simulations of real road courses, training programmes, participation in spinning classes and multi-user challenges. The Ciclotte Bike is the result of a careful study of ergonomics and uses high-quality materials (including carbon and steel).

Designed for a contemporary lifestyle in which exercise, work and wellness share the same space, it has small dimensions that allow it to be placed in different environments and used both for fitness and as a piece of furniture.
The Pirelli edition of the Ciclotte Bike is distinguished by graphics that recall the layout of the tyres used in the top motorsport competition for which Pirelli is the sole supplier. Five colours are available, the same as the race weekends: white ‘hard’, yellow ‘intermediate’, red ‘soft’, green and blue ‘rain’. For the first time, moreover, Ciclotte will have rubber grips to increase hand grip during intense training sessions.

The new bikes are on display in the yellow and red versions on Thursday 20 April during two Fuorisalone – Milano Design Week events at the Excelsior Hotel Gallia and in the Illulian boutique.
