P.Rew.: Philipp Plein
The Philipp Plein Resort 2020 collection is a jump into the Post-Punk London of the early 80s.
Philipp Plein portrays a modern-day hyper accessorized Siouxsie Sioux, covered in leather, studs and featuring the iconic 80’s Goth archetypes.
“Dress to Kill” is the new “Dress to Impress”: exaggerated shoulder pads give structure to super feminine draped dresses fully covered in Swarovski or sequins featuring asymmetric skirts and leg-of-mutton sleeves, while they add an ironic accent to the shimmering, uber-graphic dress with Philipp Plein lettering, perfect for a night out at the iconic ‘Blitz’.Shoulder pads reshapes the outerwear too and they’re combined with mini-skirts or shorts. In the The white suit combo with matching skirt, it redefines the epitome of power-dressing, while as a black blazer with crystal revers, it is styled with latex shorts and matches the top underneath.Colors are: Black, white, silver, purple, neon yellow and pink.
Textures are: python, leather, latex, denim with patches or drip finishing, Swarovski, sequins and studs.
