Tree-Kanken of Fjällräven is a tribute to the very first Kanken model of 1978 and is made of a new wood-based fabric: Pine Weave. A backpack that blends past and future of the Swedish brand and forlisted new interesting alternatives to fossil origin raw materials.
Made from non fossil raw materials
Tree-Kanken is the result of the continuous research by Fjällräven to develop more sustainable ways to produce resistant and functional garments and equipment, destined to last over time.
The main fabric and the tree-kanken lining are made with the new Pine Weave by Fjällräven. It is a cellulose-based fabric developed in an exclusive form from Fjällräven and consisting of fiber filaments, optimized to be extremely resistant and functional.
