The collaboration between Salvatore Vignola and Fantabody is the union of two worlds born under clubbing lights, between the sequins of nightlife and the desire to show off without limitations.
The capsule collection mixes the know how of Carolina Amoretti with the richness of details typical of Salvatore’s work, baptized as “SHOW OFF”, a ‘show in the show’ dedicated to the celebration of free bodies in space.
The collection is made of seven looks: bodysuits, jumpsuits and dresses made out of stretched fabrics that enhance silhouettes and wrap the body and draw a second skin, creating an interplay between sensuality and femininity. It is proposed in total black, to underline the sexy approach to nightlife, or proposed with all-over photographic print, signed by Carolina herself.
The pieces grasp color and become fantastic masterpieces to distinguish oneself and affirm one’s personality. The capsule is entirely realized in recycled Lycra made in Italy. A trendy and sustainable proposal that looks at the fashion of the future.
With this collaboration, the two designers want to emerge the profound need of women that reappropriate spaces and bodies and celebrate a hymn to beauty.
Fantabody, under the direction of Carolina Amoretti since 2015, have always fought against imposed beauty standards to provide space to realistic women, the ‘fantagirls’, which are conscious of their body and decide to accept themselves and spread this message.
Salvatore Vignola, young and brilliant designer, through his brand and numerous collaborations on an international scale, he distinguishes since the very beginning for the strong aesthetics taste, theatricality and technique that marked a big fracture in the Milanese underground fashion.
“SHOW OFF” is more than a collection. It is a show in the show, a real-life performing art in the sub-cultural scene of the Lombard capital. A leitmotiv that drives the two realities in their research since many years.
