In a continuos play of twists, cuts, sections, asymmetries, proportions’ alterations, mix and match, MARIOS Spring Summer 2019 collection defines and celebrates the iconic pieces that made the female streetwear brand famous.
Rules are abolished, anything becomes possible: any combination, shape and color, come together with the inseparable accessories, such as tights, plissé bags, ankle boots and maxi belts.
As the annual tradition MARIOS selects an artist to join the new collection’s making; for the Spring Summer 2019 the brand decided to work along with Marco Basta.
The Milan based artist, who graduated at the Brera Academy, designed a sensual and erotic Eden Garden, looking like a painted delicate and fine Chinese porcelain.
The creation is enchained with the words Green Body A Flowering Of Attraction Madness In The Pursuit Of Possession.
Since the Spring Summer 2018 the brand worked along with Robot Eyewear and the project culminated to a Spring Summer 2019 with oversized sunglasses signed MARIOBOTS.
The mirrored and colored lenses are embed into a double colored rim bringing the slogan Warriors of The World.
MARIOS is focusing to its international diffusion and it’s supported by the entrepreneur Roberto Mistrazzoso who is working on the production and distribution of the brand from now on, to reach the Asian and US market. www.marios.eu
