A typical September in London, the usual climate and the super-busy city. Find yourself in a past location like The Old Sessions House in Clerkenwell and observe it after its renovation. Right at that moment something wonderful happens: Burberry arrives with the Spring Summer 2018 collection.
A modern collection created by Christopher Bailey who wrote a new chapter in the brand. Creations that “explore the humor, the beauty, the pathos and the absolute, renowned originality of British style”. That’s how he prefers to call it the maison designer. A real clash between textures, colors and silhoutte: British jerseys on lace clothes, tartan, oversized coats, plastic caps.
The absolute protagonist is the iconic check, but there are surprises! The trench is revisited in plastic key, scarfs, waistcoats, maxi cardigans. The palette chosen by Burberry? From cupink, green, blue to black, camel and red. A mix of lively and diverse shades. Burberry is always the accessories cupid: the double face The Giant shopper bag, the baseball cap, the extra long scarves and the big earrings. But great beauty is the encounter between art and fashion. The “Here We Are” !
