It’s the russian dancer Anna Pavlova the inspiration to this Fall Winter 2019/20 collection by Chika Kisada.
The delicate yet impacting and powerful clothes merge ballet’s elegance with punk’s rebel energy; the creations in a pale pink and cream white, are sculpted in elizabethans corsets and candid exposed crinolines.Black and graphite gray find their place in simple and clean silhouettes paired with geometric over-structures, elevating the designer’s pieces to true sculptural item.
In a touching and unexpected final performance Chika Kisada’s models say goodbye to her audience with a message of affection and sorority.
