An increasingly focused attention on environmental sustainability. Carlo Pignatelli reveals a new step in his new course.
Starting from the 2021 season, the deluxe brand launches the Green capsule, an eco-sustainable green project dedicated to the bridal world.
A bridal proposal made up of three special tailored creations, a mermaid slipped dress, a romantic American neckline dress and one with asymmetrical lengths, and made with fabrics and materials that meet rigorous international certifications.
The deerskin cupro jacquard is GRS-Global Recycle Standard certified. Cupro, naturally of vegetable origin, was born already in the late nineteenth century from the recycling of waste from the cotton industry. In recent years, the eco-sustainability process has reached even higher levels, providing for the recovery of almost all materials in the process, thanks to a dynamic waste disposal system.
The Entre-a-deux floral macramé process is created exclusively for Carlo Pignatelli and made with GOTS-Global Organic Textile Standard cotton yarn. The certification provides that the fiber comes strictly from organic agriculture according to the respect of environmental and social criteria applied at all levels of production. The yarn used is natural, without toxicological substances in the processing.
The organza, both plain and embroidered, for the occasion created exclusively for the maison, is also GOTS certified.
All the clothes are finally lined in viscose saglia, particularly indicated for its characteristics of absorption and moisture management, FSC-Forest Stewardship Council certified and made with yarn from forests that correspond to the environmental, social and economic standards on which it supervises a chain of custody.
The new course of the Made in Italy maison also includes a change of pace in the style of the world of women, thanks to a new logo and with a completely rethought image. The maison’s important rebranding strategy sees the birth of the new Carlo Pignatelli Sposa style.

A completely renewed image, starting from the Carlo Pignatelli Sposa logo. Furthermore, we felt that the time had come to push the accelerator further on the new luxury: respect for the environment.
A process that we have now included among our best practices and which translates both into collections with sustainable fabrics such as the new bridal capsule, in full compliance with rigorous certifications, but also in actions and projects such as the one with Treedom to reduce the impact of the maison and sensitize our audience “.
