Global clothing retailer Uniqlo today announces its latest collection in collaboration with global fashion icon Ines de la Fressange. With the theme “Luxury Dresses and Beyond”, the new line of wardrobe essentials combines Ines’ desire to design clothes that all women can wear comfortably to reveal their beauty. LifeWear’s philosophy is to provide innovative apparel products that meet the needs of everyday lifestyles.
Inspired by the visit to Deauville, a special seaside resort for Ines de la Fressange
The inspiration for the new collection is Deauville. Parisians flock to this upscale seaside resort in northwestern France in the summer. French designer Coco Chanel chose this location for her first boutique in 1913 and the city was a nerve center for fashion in the early 20th century.
Deauville is a place of special memories for Ines de la Fressange. When she was very young, she went on vacation with her grandmother, meeting high fashion for the first time.
The unforgettable sight of elegantly dressed women on the beach and in her hangouts instilled in her the meaning of sophistication. This influenced the cute wardrobe essentials of the new collection for the season, which include the following three concepts.
Inspired by day trips to Deauville, the garments range from linen and cotton sets and pointelle knitwear to stylish accents of scarves, belts and bags. Anti-UV hats are included for the first time.
Denim jumpsuits are soft, light and comfortable for an elegant and simple look. The line also includes a range of linen and cotton shirts for a relaxed fit and silhouette.
Parisians love marine style in spring and summer and the new collection accordingly offers a variety of items in navy shades, from dresses to coats. The beading features are available in the 3D Knit items.
