Zanzibar: the Fall Winter 2021/22 capsule collection by Claudie Pierlot
The longest summer
P.Rew.: Negri Firman Pr.
The month of July. At the last minute. You book a trip to Zanzibar (why not?) Without a return ticket. In your suitcase, for this impromptu holiday, you have put everything you need to blend in with the landscape. Literally. Shades of blue that echo the sea and the sky, canvases faded by the sun and salt as you walk, your feet in the water. We lay
down on the sand, fully clothed, to take a few grains away in our pockets. With your skin sheltered from the sweltering temperatures, savor the gentle breeze blowing through the delicate fabric of a summer dress.
In the evening, when the scorching sun gives way to the cool of the night, you think of the city that awaits you. You snuggle up in a lightly quilted jacket to enjoy the sunset. The city will wait until tomorrow.
