In the Spring Summer 2022 collection the designer Judy Zhang has as an inspirational reference a combination of elements which although completely different and distant from each other, they create a unique emotion in the perception of the overall.
These Three elements are extrapolated from three cultural worlds which are the soul of the unmistakable collections of the talented designer.

From Italy takes as a cue the Roman and Greek mythology that combines to the famous American series with the character Daenerys Targaryen from “Games of Thrones”, and from her China she grabs the current panorama created with the Coronavirus.

Daenerys is a powerful independent woman and with strength and courage she stands up and fights against challenges, highlighting the symbol of women that Judy Zhang represents in her collections: an elegant and sweet feminist but at the same time a determined and courageous leader.
The Greek and Roman mythology is told by the folds that characterize the most representative clothes, from the laces used to tie the details on the skirts and from the drapery on dresses and shirts. The inspiration for the print, always very important in her collections, comes from Winterfell’s landscape of “Games of Thrones”.

The light on top of the mountain means that the hope is dissolving the cold winter storms. That light that dissolves once again and announce a return to the bright and serene sunny days after the tough battle against the Coronavirus.
Fluid and light dresses with a deep V-neck like a true goddess, suits with feminine silhouettes for the sidecut of blazers, matched with masculine-cut trousers and super-tight turtlenecks, oversized jackets to wear with iridescent knit trousers together with precious and luxurious details such as mini beaded shrugs, the original shoulder decorations and rhinestone fringes are the distinctive protagonists of the new collection.

The precious fabrics, modeled with skill to create dresses, blazers, trousers, shirts and skirts from the cut and sartorial details, instead characterize the selective choice of the designer who proposes lace, silk satin, tulle, chiffon, special yarns and cottons with a characterizing structural reinforcement.

Each garment is a hymn to Chinese haute couture that the designer proudly wants to bring to the world. The palette of colors that dye Judy’s creations are the inevitable black and white, lit by the thousand shades of the colors of the sunlight and the azure and blue nuances of the sea.
The intriguing weaving, the important structures of the shoulders of the jackets and shirts, the tight suits, the necklines and the slits that create a seductive game, tell the character of Judy Zhang’s woman who stands out for her courage, independence and refined sensuality, always ready to fight for the things she believes in, even against any belief.
