The bridal couture label lit up the catwalk of the BBFW grand finale with a preview of its new collection featuring its new muses: the two international supermodels Sara Sampaio and Blanca Padilla
Atelier Pronovias, the Pronovias Group‘s haute couture bridal brand, presented its new “Seasons of Light” collection for 2024 at Barcelona Bridal Fashion Week (BBFW), the most iconic bridal fashion show of the year.
The show took the guests, more than 1200 people, on a spectacular journey through the four seasons with inspiration from the natural elements and the seasons themselves.
The moment of greatest impact was when international supermodel Blanca Padilla opened the show and former Victoria’s Secret angel Sara Sampaio ended it with a large matryoshka dress that looked like a flower but contained an incredible sexy jumpsuit inside, made of an entirely pearlised fabric.
Alessandra Rinaudo, artistic director of the Pronovias Group, presented the new 2024 collection. “We did a deep dive inside new fabrics, we challenged ourselves with new techniques and constructions to create modern and unique gowns for modern brides,” she said, “we want to make sure every bride has a magical, red carpet-oriented experience.”
The catwalk journey was all about elegant and chic white, a trend that lights up fashion weeks everywhere. Worn in solid colours or with sexy details, it never fails to deliver a striking look.
For spring – the season of love, rebirth and blooms – Rinaudo has created a new line of sensual dresses with intricate hand-crafted three-dimensional flowers and floral appliqués embellished with Swarovski crystals and stones – reflecting the current floral trends adorning celebrities on red carpets around the world.
The summer models reflect freedom of movement and spirit. Unprecedented transparency and sexy cut-outs combine with delicate lace and beaded embroidery for subtle sensual elegance. Sublime.
More is more in the autumn, where the trend was for statement dresses inspired by natural architectural shapes, theatrical volumes and surprising structures, all customisable to enhance the beauty of every body.
Everything in the Seasons of Light collection is about innovation, developed at the heart of Pronovias’ research and development centre in Barcelona.
