At King Charles III‘s coronation ceremony at Westminster Abbey, singer Katy Perry wore a lilac Vivienne Westwood suit, consisting of a draped jacket, matching skirt and elbow-length gloves.
The dress was handmade to measure using faux leather from Vivienne Westwood’s fabric archive and was finished with a purple silk flower appliqué on the chest.
Completing the look were the Granny Frame Purse, Three Row Pearl Bas Relief Choker necklace and a tulle hat decorated with a bow.

Katy Perry also chose a Vivienne Westwood creation for her performance at the Coronation Concert at Windsor castle on Sunday 7 May: a corseted dress with a wide skirt, in metallic gold faux leather.
This dress was also handmade at the fashion house’s London atelier, taking inspiration from the grandeur of 18th century Baroque.
