Maryling “Winter Snowflake Adventure” Fall Winter 2024/25 new collection

The memory of a day skiing amidst the snowy peaks of Madonna di Campiglio is at the heart of Maryling‘s Fall Winter 2024/25Winter Snowflake Adventure“.

A magical immersion in nature that becomes the pretext to create a collection that is elegant and comfortable, modern and colourful, that reinterprets the evolution of sport and its style – increasingly recognisable, iconic, luxuriously functional – in dialogue with fashion.

At the centre is the classic hand-made Christmas jumper, which, with its skilful use of colour blocking and its traditional knitted pattern, gives life to new objects of desire, full of captivating vibrations.

The inspiration is a miscellany of artistic fascinations on which Maryling builds the soul of its proposal. Snow art and its patterns born from the hand of Simon Beck, the land artist famous for his works on fresh snow; the photographer of snowflakes Wilson A. Bentley, a pioneer in depicting a microscopic world, as evanescent as it is fascinating; the American artist Doug Aitken a master in creating architectural mirages with mirrors.

Thus, tracks in the snow are transformed into habotai in black and white printed silk; mountain landscapes, postcard views, and shades of pink, white, and indigo blue design chiffon dresses and amplify the character of down jackets, mountain clothing par excellence, as well as that of puff bags and quilted scarves.

And again, neoprene takes on psychedelic tones while monochrome garments preserve the comfort typical of sportswear while celebrating their essence with bright colours designed to stand out in the snow.

There is also room for knitwear with inlays; jacquards featuring the iconic symbols of the winter season translated into knitwear and luxurious yarns, together with classic Maryling textures such as long wool, cashmere and mohair coats, capes and tailored coats in camel, sand, chocolate and blush shades.

The patterns reinterpret the concept of a glamorous ski holiday and the beauty of winter amidst icy trees, mountain peaks and a warm atmosphere of relaxation.  The lines of the models are inspired by the iconic shapes of sportswear scratched by design details, emphasised by luxurious and elegant workmanship, bringing snow couture to the city.
