The first day of the fashion week saw Monte-Carlo sustainable fashion as the protagonist, with Monegasque brands and graduates of the sustainability competition who brought their creative vision in green to the catwalk of Palazzo Turati.
An announced success accompanied the debut of the various brands under the aegis of the Chambre Monégasque de la Mode which showed, in their creations, that ethical sensitivity applied to fashion that made the Monegasque fashion week unique on the world scene.
Starting with the Zerobarracento by Camilla Carrara zerowaste garments, with an essential and elegantly conscious aesthetic, the result of a healthy supply chain, to continue with the ethically responsible collection of Beach & Cashmere Monaco by Federica Nardoni Spinetta – President and Founder of the Chambre Monégasque de la Mode and Monte-Carlo Fashion Week – in an explosion of ethical luxury, which brought to the catwalk the strong message of protecting rhinoceros and elephants against poaching.
And again ACBC‘s sustainable footwear, made with recycled and strictly animal free materials – but with the plus of durability and quality -, and the eco sport couture of FitMe Montecarlo, the first clothing line for physical activity born from 100 fabrics % regenerated, bio based, biodegradable and aesthetically appealing.
Last but not least the precious creations by Laura Spreti whose romanticism lives on luxury textures, precious stones and a unique sartorial heritage. The house also premiered a line of quantum-activated cosmetics.
On the catwalk there was also space for two Monegasque brands not by origin but by inclination: the feminine empowerment of Sophia Nubes, between tailored constructions and an artistic soul sublimated by unprecedented material combinations, alongside the Made in Italy born from Como fabrics and artisan embroidery by Sofia Alemani.
