Nordic style blends with Mango’s DNA in a versatile and timeless collection
Mango presents the new exclusive Pernille x Mango collection, designed by Mango Girl Pernille Teisbaek.
Representative of the Nordic style, this designer, creative director, entrepreneur and mother has been collaborating with Mango for several years and has created various campaigns with the brand.
On this occasion, she takes it one step further and works hand-in-hand with the Mango design team to create a collection that blends the Danish designer’s distinctive Nordic style with the brand’s DNA. Pernille Teisbaek and the team led by designer Justicia Ruano have created a capsule of twenty pieces made with sustainable fabrics, such as organic cotton and recycled polyester. A proposal of timeless garments that can be integrated into any woman’s wardrobe and suitable for different occasions, from work to family and social life.
“I wanted to create a collection that would last over time with essential pieces. For me, these essential items are the ones that can be worn both day and night, like jeans, a white T-shirt or a classic blazer”, Pernille tells a about the collection.
In this collection we find timeless garments that serve to create versatile looks, with an urban taste and more formal combinations. Fluid profiles with classic motifs dominate, forming a complete wardrobe for this Autumn Winter 2021. The color palette is based on neutral tones such as whites and beiges, while petrol blue and black make their appearance in total look or in loose garments.
“Working with Pernille was easy from the start and we created a good harmony and enthusiasm. Most importantly, she shares the same principles of quality, femininity and sustainability that we have at Mango” says Justicia Ruano, head of women’s design speaking of the creation process.
The exclusive collection is available on the official mango.com website and in selected stores in countries such as Germany, France, Italy, Portugal, Russia, Poland, Turkey, United Arab Emirates, United States and Spain.
Mango has collaborated on several occasions with brands, artists and talents whose style and values are similar to his and his universe. This project reinforces the brand’s active role in connecting its community and the desire to continue to inspire through its passion for style and culture.
