The collection I’m talking about today has a rather substantial name. COESISTERE is Beatrice .b‘s collection for Fall Winter 2021/22 presented during Milan Fashion Week in February.
As its name suggests, this collection by Beatrice .b investigates the dichotomy of the woman she wants to represent, who manages to make her love for natural landscapes and contemporary elements coexist within herself. The same coexistence is also reflected in the garments of the Fall Winter 2021/22 collection which aims to blend the cult of beauty, sweetness and Italian savoir faire with contemporary design. The collection consists of four lines which we will talk about in detail.
Grunge Meets The Lady is the line that best expresses the sense of COEXIST. For Fall Winter 2021/22 the mohair coat is combined with a technical down jacket and the outerwear changes identity. Essential and minimal garments let themselves be seduced by fabrics embellished with workmanship.
The New Basic reviews the great classics and renews them with refinement. The hand-made pleats, the brand’s signature, are revisited with an even more subtle fold. The accessory in which this new process is fully expressed is the eco-leather bag. The handle in hand-woven natural rope and the three-dimensionality of the new plissè technique make it even more irresistible.
Boom is the line of experimentation in which unexpected combinations of fabrics and colors are the protagonists. The classic check is combined with iridescent or damask velvet, mohair, leather. Variety is the flagship value. In boom, the red python trousers and the perforated cardigan, the slip dress and the brushed mohair sweater coexist. The colors amaze: citrine green, lilac and red chili.
Common Ground. In this line, Beatrice .b wants to combine heritage with the irony of fashion that she plays with herself. The Fall Winter 2021/22 collection is enriched with this relaxed line in which fine fabrics interpret trendy and comfortable garments. Green light for active and sporty garments as in the jogger + sweatshirt suit that combines three fabrics: cool wool, magic and eco-leather. Even the most precious dresses are made more casual by the combinations.
Our favorite is definitely the multicolored sequin slip dress combined with orange wool sweaters. In this way, wearing a dress will no longer be so difficult: with a simple sweater you can tone down the elegance and create a trendy combination effortlessly. Oversized cardigans play down the silk minis: that’s it!
