Thread Em back to the 80’s with the Pump Up collection

Thread Em, a luxury brand founded in Milan by designer Emma Frattolillo for the Fall Winter 2019 collection, plays with new materials and colors. The name of the brand comes from the definition of thread in English, thread, which symbolizes the soul of fashion creation as an element that “unites” the individual parts creating unique accessories.

Direct inspiration for the Pump Up collection is 80s fashion, recalled by the use of brightly colored elastic bands. Thread Em to create a game of contrasts, both in materials and colors, this season focuses on pop colors and materials such as: velvet, PVC and elastic bands, which are so cleverly placed in opposition to create sharp contrasts.Thread Em back to the 80’s con la collezione Pump UpIn particular the velvet combined with PVC manages to represent this clear opposition: the first delicate and elegant, the second flexible and sporty. As in the previous collections we find, on bags and backpacks, small leather applications that recall the world of art so loved by the designer.

New in this collection are the Edie model, revisited as a clutch with a zip closure and Rita that can be transformed into a practical pouch. Then Connie is presented, a practical mini bag and the Liz backpack both with a tubular shape.

We also find models made entirely in transparent PVC, specifically designed to be able to show your world through the contents of the bag. Every woman is unique in her own way and can now express herself by making her the most loved accessory. This line defined “express yourself”, wants to communicate the freedom to show your world through what you carry in your bag.

Through its Thread Em accessories, it continues its story of fusion between two worlds where two cities, Los Angeles and Milan, meet and two means, fashion and art, collide.
