MARYLING: a fusion of art and fashion

by Emanuela Cinti
MARYLING, an internationally renowned brand for ready-to-wear in Italy, has come back to talk about it during the Milan Fashion Week. The new Spring Summer 2018 collection “Minimalist fashion” dazzled our eyes thanks to an excellent combination of art and fashion.

Muse of modern art is the collection inspired by the graphic works of Ellsworth Kelly’s masters, the abstraction of Jean Degottex and Lucio Fontana, and the experimentation of Pierre Cardin, completed by a touch of the sixties. Colors and shapes communicate through a dialogue that is printed on the patterns of the collection. Defined lines and chic character for chemisier clothes from underlined life; the important dresses that highlight shoulders and decollete with grace; novel peplum for style ladies who do not give up the rustling of the textures around them.

The “sixties” imprint are on top of the high-waisted couture and top-of-the-line mini-skirts, making them a real object of style. Optical fantasies and unusual geometries in the shapes illuminate the style of the new collection, featuring a rainbow-colored “bouquet”: bright red, yellow and blue, giving an intense explosion of emotions, such as the impact of Ellsworth Kelly and the sensation which only one work can transmit to the spectator. High tailoring, fabric quality and state-of-the-art design technology have allowed the brand to remain impressed in many people’s minds.

The clean, feminine and timeless collections are aimed at modern and elegant women. In recent years, the brand has built a strong presence in shopping malls and department stores in all of Asia’s major cities, an important reference market for a brand such as MARYLING, which is capable of engaging many women in constant classroom research style and exclusivity.
