To draw inspiration from a film to create a collection suitable for a modern woman, who likes to change and always show herself differently: this is what the Cividini brand did during the upcoming Spring Summer 2019.“When the movie Out of Africa came out, Miriam and I still did not think to create Cividini but taking care of fashion and creativity we did not fail to see him being impressed by the skill with which Milena Canonero, Oscar for costumes, managed to masterfully combine the bourgeois aesthetics of the North European years immediately preceding the World War I with the influences and the commingling of the colonial society in Kenya. Looking for an incipit for the new collection that we imagined could be exotic and at the same time underground we remembered that film and the aesthetic emotion that had caused us and from that moment the pieces of the puzzle were composed, we had found the thread rouge that would have guided us in its conception and development. “Contemporary and modern creations, realized through a mix between bon ton style and military for a free woman, lover of a clean and essential design that has always distinguished the brand Cividini.
Among the constants we find:
- leggins, designed with large polka dots and with paintings that we find in many of the garments, becoming a common thread of the collection;
- very light-colored polka dots or hand-painted paintings, glamorous and trendy must-have-loose pleats in plaid, polka-dot, plain or camouflage printed fabrics, to be worn on their own or with overlapping prints and drawings or under wraparound dresses, but also with soft blazers.
A collection that of Cividini refined and clean, made with high quality materials and with great attention to detail.
