The new Gentryportofino 2020 Fall Winter collection marks the route of purification, almost like the philosophy of primal elegance.
The material approach is all about “raw of attraction”, a cleanup of sculpted shapes, clean and austere charm originated by an unusual muse: Georgia O’Keeffe.
The outsider woman animated by strict charm in contrast to the vibrant colours of her paintings, pioneer of the American modernism on the edge of representation and abstraction. The collection will be displayed in Sala Tiepolo at Palazzo Clerici in Milan. A play of contrasts where the Rococo style of the location is balanced by Gentryportofino’s essential silhouettes.
A visual route enriched by installations and mirror walls ready to reflect and multiply the minimalism of the looks and the models’ simplicity, devoid of any frills.
Gentryportofino 2020 Fall Winter collection is a journey back in time, in Georgia O’Keeffe’s studio in Santa Fe.Same minimal decorations, raw cuttings, the architecture of her New Mexico are the features you can find in sculpted dresses and shaped silhouettes.
Knitwear is the core of the collection, essential in the purity of gauze and cashmere, in a “gallery” of knitwear combining raw textures and sinuous, fluid precious fabrics.
