Pompea chooses the innovative Q – NOVA® fiber by Fulgar, a regenerated yarn that is also ideal for everyday sports
Pompea, the leading Italian brand in the production of hosiery and underwear, presents the new sustainable Eco-friendly line, made with regenerated materials and innovative yarns.
The collection is in fact the first environmentally friendly line designed by the Italian company, which thus decides to take an extra step towards sustainability by guaranteeing full traceability of the materials used, ensuring the highest quality standards to the final consumer and sharing all the information on how and where produced.
The garments of the Eco-friendly collection, designed for both men and women, reflect the green philosophy of the brand that is constantly committed to the maximum reduction of its environmental impact. An expression of this responsible approach is the use of Q-NOVA® by Fulgar recycled fiber resulting from the regeneration of textile waste from the nylon fiber. The advantage of using this material translates into lower emissions and water savings, measured thanks to certifications such as the Life Cycle Assessment, GRS (2015-005 certified by ICEA) and EU Ecolabel.
The Eco-friendly line combines attention to sustainable themes with young and contemporary design that is reflected in the contrasting edges and trendy silhouette, without losing sight of the “real comfort” of which Pompea is the spokesperson. The ribbed processing of the fabric in fact allows a greater extension of the underwear which allows the wearer to always feel at ease, in any situation. In addition, the garments of the Eco-friendly line are also functional for sports activities thanks to the anatomical areas with different elasticity that allow full freedom of movement and the soft, practical fabric designed for quick drying.
The choice of the material used to package the garments also reflects Pompea’s important step alongside the environment: the paper, chosen for the packaging of the underwear line, and the plastic wraps that protect the tights, are FSC® certified materials that allow greater ease of management by the consumer and recycling companies.

Tights 20 DEN or 40 DEN Eco-friendly: sheer opaque soft tights in 20 or 40 deniers, in recycled Q-NOVA® yarn. Available in black, it is an essential garment for those who put comfort first, thanks to the adaptable strap obtained thanks to the use of the LYCRA® ADAPTIV fiber. It is also equipped with a reinforced culotte bodice with a gusset and invisible reinforced toes. The innovative environmentally friendly tights are also provided with a polyamide gusset compliant with the logic of eco-design, which greatly simplifies the potential recyclability of the garment.
