Donating clean water to countries affected by sudden and protracted emergencies: this is the aim of the Christmas Design Market that will animate the Milan flagship store of the Italian design brand Natuzzi Italia from 2 to 24 December 2022.
The initiative stems from the company’s desire to concretely support Oxfam Italia’s commitment with a donation, in particular the campaign Dona acqua, salva una vita (Donate water, save a life), and by giving the public in Milan the chance to join the goal of bringing 10,000 litres of safe water to situations of need thanks to the charitable Christmas Market.
Every item in the Christmas Design Market can make a difference: part of the proceeds from each product purchased will join the donation that Natuzzi Italia will make to Oxfam Italia to help bring clean water to those in emergency situations who need it most for drinking, cooking and washing.
Oxfam Italia, which has always been committed to the fight against inequality to put an end to poverty and injustice is, with 80 years of experience behind it, a world leader in bringing water and sanitation to emergencies. Today, in fact, 1 in 4, or 2 billion people in the world have no access to drinking water; 700 children die every day from diseases related to dirty or contaminated water and lack of hygiene; almost half of the population.
A selection of design objects at exceptional prices
The Christmas Design Market will be an opportunity to support the initiative and discover original gift ideas at unrepeatable prices. A collection of decorative objects, lamps, textiles, and table accessories, available for the first time at exceptional conditions, such as the Pumi, a celebration of the traditional Apulian good luck charm, and the perfumers to bring the poetic notes of the Mediterranean into the home, up to the iconic Trullini, which pay homage to the famous architectures symbolic of the Apulian territory and are available in the scented candle or room fragrance versions.
A true immersion in the world of Natuzzi Italia and the warm Mediterranean atmospheres that are the protagonists of the brand’s creations, as well as the architecture of the store designed by Fabio Novembre and inspired by the welcome and warmth typical of Puglia.
A party to celebrate the beauty of solidarity
On Thursday 15 December, starting at 6 p.m. in the store in via Durini, Natuzzi Italia and Oxfam Italia celebrate the beauty of solidarity with a Christmas cocktail party dedicated to the city and to all those who want to support Oxfam and fight inequality and poverty.
