Three creatives, three styles, three visions that reinvent the crocodile. On 18 March 2020 Lacoste invited the artists FriendsWithYou, Jeremyville and Jean-Michel Tixier to reinterpret the legendary French brand logos in their own way.

This spring the iconic Lacoste crocodile ventures into new creative territories, thanks to three new reinterpretations. Updated and reinterpreted by the candid strokes of the pen by Samuel Borkson and Arturo Sandoval III by the duo FriendsWithYou, by the eccentric style of Jeremyville and by the clean lines of Jean-Michel Tixier, the reptile shows itself in a new light, with a new look.Lacoste X Jean Michel TixierKnown for their optimistic graphics and a positive vision of the world, the three artists have created colorful collections, reinventing the timeless classics of the maison, from pret-a-porter clothing to accessories, with a new cheerful, original style it’s colored.

The legendary polo shirts, sweatshirts and essential t-shirts tighten their strength with hats, watches, leather goods, sneakers and perfumes in three highly original collaborations, rich in humor and tenderness. Each reinvents the Lacoste universe with its own personal and cheerful style.

FriendsWithYou, a kinder world
FriendsWithYou is a collaborative creative project by the artists Samuel Borksone Arturo Sandava III. Distance in Los Angeles, they have been working with an attitude of positive change for the world since 2002. Known for their immersive installations and inflatable sculptures, their works go beyond the world of contemporary art, to reach popular culture.

For Lacoste, they send the crocodile into orbit in a colorful and dreamlike world, animated by characters characterized by a minimal design and deceptively naive, who see Lacoste’s sporting roots wearing an unexpected kawaii style.Lacoste X Jean Michel Tixier
Jeremyville, the bar rises
Based between New York and Sydney, Jeremyville brings worldwide a style steeped in comic book culture that has its roots in street art. For Lacoste, the artist has created an artistic and lush jungle where tennis and crocodiles form a unique thing.

Lost in the middle of a mischievous design with the artist’s curved characteristics, rackets and tennis balls are transformed into hybrid animals. Bizarre and adorable characters who become friends of quadruped reptiles in an abstract and surreal world.

Jean-Michel Tixier, a Parisian crocodile
From the pages of trendy magazines to posters on the walls of trendy Parisian brasseries, the French illustrator Jean-Michel Tixier imagines a crocodile inspired by him and the people around him.

The crocodile becomes human in the form of a stylish hipster, father of Parisian high society, trader always in a hurry, Parisian dandy or teen fan of sportswear. An affectionate look from Lacoste fans from any background.
The articles of the collaboration between Lacoste and the three artists are available on the e-shop and in the physical stores of Lacoste.
